  1. Advice about if you have classes that are very spaced out from each other (and your dorm is on south campus) what/where you can hangout or study in between without going back to your room excluding Davis/UL (or cute spots on Franklin to do work/chill)

  2. I would love to read about bridging the gap between meeting people and making; freshmen begin to recognize a lot of faces, but it’s hard to gain real relationships that go beyond “How are you?” “I’m fine”

  3. I think a good topic to cover would be things you can do or be engaged in when you have to stay on campus for break. As an out of state student who doesn’t really know anyone and can’t afford to travel home every break, it would be helpful to have.

  4. A good topic could be the hidden study gems within dorms that aren’t just the “study room” but instead things like the balcony outside your dorm that some people may not think of as a study place.

  5. I think it would be cool to have a post focused on having a bike on campus. It could be along the lines of pros and cons of having a bike on campus, pro tips for using a bike at unc, or even a post that details how to use the new bikes that unc installed on campus 🙂

  6. I think a great idea would be to give some ideas on how to take care of your mental health during hectic times of year (and in general) with some anecdotes or tips from other students.

  7. I think a series called “Humans of Campus Housing,” based on the popular “Humans of New York” page would be very cool! Each week or so you could profile a different resident of a dorm and ask them about dorm living, campus life, or anything else.

  8. Laundry and Conversations!
We all do laundry (hopefully), and you’re bound to meet some new people in the process! Write about some types of people that you might encounter while doing laundry in on-campus housing at UNC.

  9. I think a great topic for a potential blog post would be to include a little bit of the history and building background for many of the dorms on campus, along with traditions related to some of the residential halls. This could even turn into a series of blog posts.
